Volunteer with the League of Women Voters of the Lansing Area! Below are some of the areas of opportunity for volunteering as a League member or as a supporting volunteer.

Voter Education

Build voter guides and VOTE411 content for our community. Host or participate in voter registration activities or candidate forums. Do other voter outreach to community groups, college students/young voters, etc.

Communications

Build and send our emails and newsletters. Manage our social media. Manage our website. Manage our media relations.

Advocacy

Advocate to policymakers on voting rights and other issues of importance. Join our Observer Corps to observe public local government meetings.

League Operations

Recruit, welcome, and engage new League members. Engage in fundraising to fuel our work. Plan events. Guide our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across all our work. Manage financial and operational needs.
